Okay so I watched the fight again. Downloaded.

Gomi said in exact words, "I want to fight the champions, St. Pierre, Matt Hughes, BJ Penn. In The USA, the birthplace of MMA"

Hopefully Gomi was just hyping himself up in the USA. It's actually kinda scary thinking about him fighting GSP, Hughes, and Penn.

It's all about matchups see...

Since GSP is much bigger, as well as his slick ground style, I see Gomi getting crushed. An accomplished submission man with a solid standup game will hurt Gomi. That's taking into account that he has been subbed in, what 2 of his last 4?

Hughes by brutal GnP TKO. Hughes is crazy gorilla strong. He would break Gomi in two.

Penn would take him down, out class him on the ground, and RNC Gomi just like their fist match-up.

Sean Sherk will UD Gomi in a five round decision.

doomed28 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Gomi should fight me before GSp, lol. If he gasses out after 4 minutes..I have a shot right? jk Gomi would have a much easier time if he stepped in front of an oncoming train than to fight GSP.

Man Gomi was poor! Yeah Ive got a lil more respect for Diaz, he put forward a good game. But Gomi was terrible, he better go down the lightweight rankings.

I was surprised at how gassed he was. Seemed like he had an edge until about the 4th or 5th minute. Then he fell apart. I'm not a Diaz fan but he definitely weathered the storm in the earlier minutes and really put a hurting towards the end of round 1. I give mucho respect for that and that gogoplata was purty sick. After watching the fight me and my brothers practiced that move for like an hour (we're not BJJ practitioners, but it looked sooo cool.)

Well maybe the UFC isn't as bad as some of you guys have been saying for all this time? You also have to admit it looks really bad when you call somebody out then you lose to somebody that just came from there organization and couldn't get a shot at them. Don't take that the wrong way because I am a huge Nick Diaz fan.

Gomi's still a top of the line LW but its too big of a jump from LW to WW for him to even have a prayer against a top of the line WW.
