Daley would knock Thiago out inside two. He's a better striker. He's faster and more powerful. Paul Daley wouldn't get out kickboxed by Jon Fitch.

He'd have to keep it standing first, eat Thiago's leg kicks, and honestly, Daley's kind of overrated.

His best wins are Kampmann, Scott Smith, Hazelett, and Duane Ludwig.

Alves has smashed Hughes, Karo, and Koscheck, and was mauling Lytle's legs with leg kicks.

I never saw the hype about Daley, he's a striker with big power which some people I like I guess, but his ground game is pretty much useless, and his attitude is a massive red flag. He has no honor or respect for martial arts or his opponents.

But, everyone has their opinion's, if you wanna cheer for guys who whack people after the bell, more power to you.

Out kick boxed by Fitch, having troubles standing toe to toe with Rick Story. Highly doubtful he would maul Daley.

As I said before, Daley is quicker and poses more power. Alves has been over rated for a long, long time. People still seem to think he's this outstandingly good striker and any one who decides to stand with him are in great danger. It's just not true. Duane Ludwig would probably beat Thiago Alves. In fact, I really hope they book that fight.

If you want to cheer for guys who take steroids, lie compulsively, commit acts of fraud and massively disrespects legends of the sport, then more power to you. Everyone has their opinions.

Did Chael do any of that in the cage?

Did Daley miss weight for MMA fights? Did he sucker punch a guy after the bell in an MMA fight?.

I don't give a damn what people are doing outside of the cage, it's what you do in it that matters to me. Is Chael perfect? Not by a long shot, did he serve his time? Sure did.

Paul Daley never impressed me. The man shows no signs of evolving. He's a gatekeeper at best.

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

the only thing daley ever did wrong in the ufc was that punch. as bad as it was everyone makes mistakes

i put drug cheating way above that, putting aside the money laundering and shitty attitude

yet chael is still employed while daley is banished forever!! why? because chael has heaps better wrestling, basically

"That punch" was a sign of dis-respect and dis-honor to your sport, your company, your boss, your opponent, then he didn't even apologize to Dana, he was just like "eh..."

Not to mention he's missed weight FIVE times since 2010, and along the way has 3 losses since. Did Chael do something bad? Yeah, but he served his suspension, he's serving his probation, he paid his fines, and he took his punishment like a man.

The government handed out their punishment, Chael accepted it, Dana handed out his punishment, Daley has to accept it.
