You are talking about almost all of the title holders fighting on one card. Are they going to charge $500 for the PPV to make up for the fact that no one will order the other ones that year?

How can you say that the one coming up is not that good?

You have Couture Vs Sylvia.

Franklin Vs MacDonald

Hughes Vs Lytle

Those are big names. And no one would have thought that Gomi/Diaz was a big fight until Diaz won it. Hell, it wasn't even a title fight. I think that some people one here (and I won't point out names) think that just because something is Pride, it's better.

All those fights are fairly one-sided. And alot of people, including me, new Gomi vs Diaz was gonna be a great fight. Alot of people were even saying it would be the fight of the night...just check out the PRIDE forum. UFC 68 has no, I repeat, no chance to live up to PRIDE 33.

Your answer is UFC 70.

That is if you're going on name recognition/match ups UFC 70 is off the hook!

That being said, if Misaki, Nog, Gomi, and Silva all win this PRIDE 33 is just as good as Shockwave 2006 or any other avg card. Now, if Franklin and Sylvia lose in interesting fashion, for example people will be talking about UFC 68!

BTW, PRIDE 33 ROCKED! :P

personaly i do not wan't to see Hughes Slam Lytle. J McDonald vs Franklin isn't exactly a super fight. Couture Sylvia isn't a great match up but it's going to be exciting to see how Couture is doing these days.

If that's the UFC 72 card then yes it will be better than Pride 33.

Rich Franklin has only had 1 super fight and it was against Anderson Silva when he showed the world hes been fighting overrated cans his whole career.

This fight with Hughes is a joke. Give him someone else for goodness sakes. Way to protect your crappy golden boys!
