See the thing is, when people say that stuff, whatever the other does now is a lose/lose situation. If Anderson Silva accepts, then he is just playing into Sonnen's hands despite him not needing to prove anything. If Silva declines, then everyone is going to call him a coward or something.

For example its lke someone saying to you, "if you dont jump off the cliff then your gay". Well you dont want to kill yourself but you dont want your "buddies" to think that your gay, so off the cliff you go. Needlessly doing something you dont want to do because someone else made you do it. And if you dont, people are not going to look at you the same way again. Either way you lose.

anderson doesnt really have a choice in the matter. Zuffa are going to do this fight by hook or crook..When I heard sonnen mention superbowl weekend as he cut that promo it all but proved dana and he had already had words..

That comparison is rather silly in my view. You don't live life following other people, you live your life the way you want. Anyways, he is the champ and he can't avoid someone, if Dana offers him a contract he basically has to fight, the only possible say he has is the when part.

How old are you...12? you dont jump off a cliff and you're gay.....wow.

Anderson hasnt ducked anyone in his division. Ducking someone means you make it a point not to fight them and you are actually able to avoid them. He has fought all of the top guys in his division. Hendo, Franklin, Okami, Maia, Sonnen, Belfort, Leben, Marquardt. Hell, he even fought Lutter when he didnt make weight and wasnt evern remotely deserving of that fight. He had absolutely nothing to gain from beating him and a loss would have destroyed his legacy. You cant claim a guy that has beaten everyone is trying to duck people. Its silly.

He gets 1 win and starts out on his mission to get another match no one should of expected less it'll be like this for weeks or even months or until he gets the match. The only part I'm sad about is that we have to read about it every day.

I dont think he should get a shittle tot just yet. Since when does getting cought cheating and subbing a guy with no ground game = a shot? He should fight Bisping or Miller first. I thought Anderson was out until next year anyway?

Chael will get the shot. Rightly or wrongly, he'll get it cos it makes great business sense. Beating Brian Stann doesnt make you top of the pile but lets face it, there arent a great deal of MWs left for Silva to face. No way on earth will Sonnen leave the UFC when he gets beat though.

He knows as well as anybody, Anderson Silva has little to no say on who he fights as he is the Champ and he will fight whoever the UFC deems to be No.1 contender.

Lets face it, this is Chael hyping the fight, making it interesting, doing what he does best... talking smack. I think it's safe to say we can look forward to another few months of this shit.
