Aint that the truth. The Anderson Silva family mountain and Chael Sonnen family mountain fighting each other for land has been going on far too long. The 2 families need to learn to get along with each other and share the land in the middle.

The discussion really brings out the asshole in people.

if my memory serves me correctly:

wasnt Chael involved in a feud with Josh Rosenthal, due to a percieved slight over an armbar from Paulo Fihlo.
Sonnen screamed "TAAAAAAAAAAP"...then claim Rosenthal stopped the fight prematurely and should be fired from Zuffa.

I remember that sh!t....

another notch in the belt of integrity for Chael Patrick

No one is denying Sonnen gave Spider the biggest test to date and almost beat him. However I don't think anyone can argue that "almost winning" is still losing. and not a controversial decision, or a premature stoppage. It was a tapout. If the UFC had a legitimate ranking system, Sonnen would require a couple more fights before getting another shot. However, this fight is destined to happen because it's a money maker, and Zuffa loves money. Sonnen fans wanna see it because they are convinced he'll be the next champ. Silva fans wanna see it because they hope that when Sonnen is choked out this time, maybe his voicebox will be crushed, and we won't have to hear his rediculous rants.

Disagree with you on this one dude. I find the fights on the undercard are usually WAY more exciting. You get these young guys looking to make a statement and they leave it all in the cage. Some fantastic fights, and usually much more exciting than the main event
