Condit sounds pretty good. This will be more interesting than I thought. If he goes out there and throws caution to the wind, he may be able to catch him. Not likely, but just saying.

RIP Jordan Corder. Watch over me from above brother.

War Condit, he swept an excellent judo black belt in DHK like nothing so I don't think he'll just be layed on, and his striking and chin eclipse GSP badly, if condit comes in well conditioned he'll take this, he already beat up his protege macdonald too.

I believe his striking is around the same level as GSPs.

And you forget, McDonald was taking it to Condit until he got caught in the 3rd.

I'll definitely give him credit for the sweep though...I almost made a mess in my pants when I saw that...so beautiful.

GSP's striking is leagues beyond Condit's (especially before Condit finds his rhythm which can take forever). But I still love this fight.

IMO it goes a lot like the Alves fight. Condit will do okay standing but get dropped by GSP without hurting GSP back, he'll get taken down at will but not held down. I don't think he'll threaten with submissions much.

I wouldn't say Condit has superior striking to GSP in any regard. And I love how St. Pierre is still catching flack for his chin because of one TKO many, many years ago. In any event, it's going to be an amazing fight... perhaps even more so than the original Diaz vs. St. Pierre bout.

Unlike Diaz, Condit is the perfect representation of how a mixed martial artist should handle himself. He has a great demeanor, great work ethic, and is incredibly confident without any kind of cockiness whatsoever. Definitely a quality fighter. I don't see him getting passed GSP but I'm sure he'll give him a good fight.
