UFC in Europe

I was wondering what other European markets are of interest to be used by UFC in 2012?
Everybody knows the UFC invested largely in the UK, and to a lesser extent in Germany. What other European countries could bring in major UFC revenue and athletes?

Sweden seems the next candidate, but except Gustaffson and Papy Abedy theres no other talent. Maybe the Netherlands as well? but their talent outside of Overeem, Struve and Mousasi is also limited.

France has been discussed as a potential event for a while. Im not sure they lifted the ban off yet. Italy and Spain were also mentioned but MMA there is not mainstream yet, and theyre not known for martial arts anyways.

Eastern Europe could also be a good market for countries like Russia, Bulgaria, Poland and Croatia having some talent and proficient in sambo and kickboxing.

any others?

Sweden next definitely, other than them and the UK, to be honest not many others are truly ready.

I'm sure there's a lot of interest in Russia, but I'm not so sure UFC is ready to go there.

I'm not so sure Dana will ever be ready to kiss enough ass to go there.

Hi Lauren!

There has been several rumors about it, but nothing officially confirmed yet The best advice I can give you is to check UFC.com every once in a while.

I'm very interested in this event myself since I'm in Denmark and the trip wouldn't be that long for me.
