John Makdessi vs. Kyle Watson was the obvious choice for me. The way he sets it up with the right kick feint, he knew exactly what he wanted to do and smashed it!

I had to go with the karate kid crane k.o. All were great though, that was a tough choice.

Machida vs Couture

Silva's KO over Belfort dropped my jaw. Just did not see that coming at all.

I meant to vote on Stout's KO but my IPod said no. That is one of the most crisp KOs I've ever seen. Dana said himself that it was the nastiest ko he's ever seen.

EDIT: I also liked Dos Anjos KO over Soti. Can't remember if he was still consciouS or not though.

Will make predictions for credits. Please, I'm so broke.

All of those were good.

But you have to go Anderson. And I don't see how people can say Machida instead? Anderson did it first. It was lightening quick, just amazing accuracy. And he did it vs. an elite striker...not a 46 year old man that has never been a great striker, whose reflexes are shot.

Frankie. Even though that KO wasn't the most brutal or fantastic, what it meant in context was just flooring. You can see it in Frankie's last punch how much he's wanted to do that for a very, very long time as well. At first when he tags him it's all technical, left hand up guarding, right hand punching. The last one he just lets his left down and throws his entire body into that overhand. With the way the second fight went and how this one started, it was one of the best KO's I've seen by far.

Yeah, Frankie's was great just for the finality of it. I didn't ever imagine him KO'ing Grey.

Great stuff. We've had some truly special knockouts this year. I went with Silva/Belfort slightly over Nog/Schaub. Those were the two that had me standing and shouting 'OMGZ'.

Kongo/Barry was also completely insane, but I like Barry so I decided to pretend that didn't happen.

There have been a shit ton of epic KOs this year, not as many insane subs, which makes me a sad panda.

Think. It Ain't Illegal Yet
