Kos is one of those guys who is great when he gets a favourable matchup, but struggles when he doesn't. If his opponent can outstrike him and stop his takedowns, he has trouble.

If BJ is staying at 170, I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Koscheck.

It's not a troll thread if you take the topic seriously. Takes away all the troll power.

Is Koscheck underrated? Maybe, after his less-than-inspiring outing against St. Pierre. He's still trouble for almost anyone at 170, and many at 185.

4. This is the last fight GSP had where he didn't half ass trying to beat down his opponent. Alves is ridiculously hard to stop though so it didn't matter.

GSP only tries to put vicious beatings on his best opponents(Fitch, Penn, Alves) because it is dangerous to let them hang around. He mails it in against the guys who didn't deserve title shots like Hardy and Shields.
That is awesome, had me LMAO.

But I do agree with that point also, he didn't out-wrestle Kos so much as out-MMA him.

I would hardly call him underrated. I've seen people on this board call him a dick, asshole etc but no one has ever said he's not good. Most people agree that he's in at least the top 5 at WW. I personally have him at #3 behind GSP and Fitch.

If you want to talk about an underrated welterweight, look no further than Martin ****ing Kampmann. I'd rank Kampmann above Kos if he didn't get robbed so many times. Dude should be 19-3 on a 4 fight winning streak right now. It's bullshit.
