Thx..I couldn't afford photoshop so I gave MS Paint a try

Mac Danzig is still on his back; his sweaty, pumped white torso is flushed with the auburn heat that auburn skin produces when it is aroused. His panting, fetching head has been pushed up against the cage by... Marc Bocek’s energetic pounding...

I truly would NOT worry about mma failing. It is becoming more then a sport it is becoming a way of life for tens of thousands. If the president were coming out and giving speeches about how MMA will be banned then I would be worried > I wouldnt worry about one babbling idiot.

Well I don't know if you guys know it, but there was a UFC PPV that I believe beat out Wrestlemania (biggest show of the year) in PPV revenue...

I wouln't make any bones about what Hulk Hogan is saying of mixed martial arts. He's just a casual celebrity attendee that goes to events to get his face shown on television, it's not like he knows anything of the sport.

It's pretty much just Hogan being Hogan. I mean, the most common phrase you hear from him is "So? I'm Hulk Hogan."

What did you guys read. HOGAN NEVER SAID MMA IS FAKE. HE said it is a "work -shoot". Meaning there is all the huss and fuss before the fighting. Like: the thousands of commercials, ths inside the ufc, the behind the scenes showing the traing the week of the fight, how they get the two fighters to smack talk eachother, UFC is a GOD DAMN SOAPOPERA for men. I love it.

All that stuff I just mentioned is designed to do 2 things: 1) Sell pay per view buys (ala WWE)
2) Build a story line (ala WWE)

You see who these people are, how they train, and what they think of eachother, you get inside their lives. This is EXACTLY LIKE THE WWE except its REAL...a "work-shoot"

You do all the "work" to make the "shoot" as profitable and exciting as possible.

Exactly, this is Hogan being Hogan. His whole life is a work. Please, don't let his comments get to you people. He's an old carny wrestler who speaks old carny wrestler talk.

You said it perfectly. Hogan never said it was fake.

A perfect example of a "worked shoot" is the whole Tito Ortiz-Ken Shamrock feud. While their fights were real (a shoot) there feud was mostly a fabrication (a work).
