So you won't bet on St. Pierre beating Serra?

Anyways, I doubt MacDonald will win. Franklin is just too much for him, it's not like he has a crappy ground game. Franklin will keep the fight standing and (T)KO MacDonald.

The only intangible I see in this fight is that Franklin took a huge beating against Silva, so he may not be mentally ready to fight. Along with his long period of octagon rust, this is the perfect opportunity to take out Franklin.

Exactly, this is what I am really hoping for and is why I decided to bet on Macdonald. Mainly because he is Canadian but also because I don't think Franklin will return with the same confidence he once had after the devastating loss to silva, along with the ring rust. So yes it would be a huge upset, but I don't think there could be a better time for Macdonald to pull off an upset over macdonald. With that said after seeing him fight leben he better have been working his ass of on his striking the last couple months or he's in trouble.
Crossing my fingers for Franklin to make his return after a devstating KO like wandy...except I don't think Jason would knock him out, submission.

"The Athlete?"

Hopefully, if he wins, he'll get a new nickname.

I think Rich is going in there hungry & ready to make a statement, maybe MacDonald can capitalize on that somehow with the right amount of patience & aggression at the right moment.

Someone said it earlier but Ill say it again anyways: he will get a title shot vs Silva, lose, but then get paid a good amount of money for his next couple fights. If he beats Franklin, he's gonna start making some bank

Pfft ok he Herman which is not saying much. Then he beat the one dimensional Leban (barely). I dont know why everyone thinks this guy is so good. Hes alright but like Franklin said "KO in the first".

I agree that he barely beat Leben but his victory over Herman was very impressive

Well he's not going to win, and frankly stands close to no chance, so let's get that out of the way.

The question should be when Franklin beats MacDonald where does he go from there?

Since I guess it would only be fair to give Swick a chance even if he'd stand absolute no chance against Silva or Franklin, I suppose if Swick beats Okami (or the other way around) at 69 then set up a fight between Rich and Swick/Okami, they'll have plenty of time to cross the t's and dot the i's with Marquardt/Silva set for July I believe.

So, unlike the other fights, MacDonald WILL be a stepping stone for Rich's comeback trail, only to get another dismantlement from Anderson.

You're just a cook...
