By now we all know GSP's out of the Diaz fight and Condit is stepping in to replace him and it'll be for the interim title.

One problem though....Josh Koscheck.

He was supposed to fight Condit, now that's obviously not happening, so who could Koscheck fight now? Also, what do you think this means for Ellenberger/Sanchez, how many more times will the winner of that have to fight and what does this mean for Fitch?

GSP likely won't fight until Decemer or 2013, if he's out for ten months and needs a solid training camp so the Welterweight division will get very interesting next year.

It's definitely the shake-up the division needed.

This really allows the division time to flesh out a true number one contender. Fitch, Ellenberger, and so on... I'd be pitting the top dogs against each other until GSP returns. If they have the time to determine a true number one contender, they ought to take advantage of it. I suspect we'll be seeing Ellenberger vs. Fitch sometime next year, and I honestly don't care or see where Kos goes from here... I think the WW division has offered him all it can, unless GSP is forced to retire.

Interim Title Match Nick Diaz vs Carlos Condit

Diaz - 11 Fight win streak, notable wins, (Penn, Daley, Shamrock)

Condit - 4 Fight win streak, notable wins, (Ellenberger, Macdonald, Kym, Hardy)

Georges St. Pierre would have the winner of either fighter however if GSP is unable to return in time for another title match the following fighters would be establish.

Nick Diaz wins he will face either Jake Ellenberger or Diego Sanchez.

Ellenberger - 6 fight win streak (Pyle, Shields, Sanchez)

Sanchez - 3 fight win streak (Kampmann, Thiago, Ellenberger and Diaz)

Ellenberger would have just beaten Diaz's training partner Jake Shields, Diego Sanchez is the only person who beat Nick Diaz and is still around today.

Carlos Condit wins he will likely face Rory Macdonald, Jon Fitch, or Josh Koscheck.

• Josh Koscheck - has the linear WEC belt, as Kampmann beat Condit, Daley beat Kampmann and Koscheck beat Daley. They were also both scheduled to face each other.
  
• Rory Macdonald - (12-1) record with his one loss to Carlos Condit who nailed a hail mary KO in the final 10 seconds of the fight.
  
• Jon Fitch - The number 2 WW in the world is coming off a draw but will face Johnny Hendricks he is 5-0-1 since his title shot and 13-1-1 in the UFC.
