Cant root for Melvin. Never. The face. The name. The hair. The talking about himself in 3rd person. The selective memory. All adds up to a big bundle of twat.

Before his fight with Lauzon everyone was talking about how great Guillard was, and how he could be Edgar. Now nobody seems to be giving him a chance against Jim Miller.

Make no mistake about it. Guillard has crazy fast hands and true KO power in both hands, as well as very good TDD.

I think this is a very close fight to call, but Guillard takes it early via TKO.

I agree with the other dude. Guillard was impressive, but vs. who? Shane Roller?

Sure Guillard is dangerous. But anyone acting like he was the future is like the Cerrone fans. Just way too quick with it. I think their were more Cerrone for president guys though.

Miller is the exact matchup Guillard doesn't want. A relentless well-rounded very good wrestler. With very good sub skills...who is tough as nails and can take a punch.

Tough fight for both fighters. Surprised that very few are giving Guillard a chance though. I think Miller has more tools overall and has a very imposing grappling game that can cause 155lbs trouble. But on the feet, Melvin can appear high quality when he wants to.

And his TDD is very very solid. It's another classic striker vs grappler match ups. If Miller gets Guillard to the ground, the Guillard's going to have a hard night. If Guillard forces Miller to stand then Miller's going to have a hard night, regardless of how solid his stand up skills are. It is what it is.

This is a tough fight to call. I see more ways Miller can beat Guillard but I've always thought Guillard had great potential and have been really impressed with Guillard in all his last few fights aside from against Lauzon. This can go one of two ways for Guillard either he comes out and fights a smart fight and makes a big statement by either stopping Miller or winning a decision. Or Miller at some point gets control Guillard on the ground and that will be all she wrote for Guillard. Very excited to see this, both guys I think are a threat to Edgar in there own way and whoever wins this fight could very well put them self into contention with one more big win.

Guillard has way more quality wins than Cerrone.

I hope to see Guillard win, mostly because I dislike seeing all of that potential continue to go to waste.

I was just saying that more people were on the Cerrone train than the Guillard train.

I think anyone thinking that they were future champs were getting ahead of themselves. A win over Roller for Guillard and a win over Siver for Cerrone is hardly enough to think either could hang with the top 5 of the division.

Guillard has always been what he is. A real athletic guy with a bit of wrestling, and KO power. His sub D sucks, his technical striking is overrated, and his mindset is always off. He rattled a few wins in a row off vs hardly anyone worth anything. The Dunham win was impressive. Other than that he hasn't been that great. A couple of his wins he got the lucky end of the judging.

He can KO Miller. But Miller in my opinion is the better fighter. Always has been.
