Miller by submission but I truly wouldn't be surprised if he stopped him with strikes also, he's got much more power than a guy like Joe Stevenson who dropped Guillard with a jab, couple that with the fact Guillard will bounce around with his hands down and I truly don't see how Miller loses, he's a better all around grappler, is one of the toughest guys in the sport along side his brother and is just a better overall fighter.

I'm going with Miller as well. Even though the main strength of Jim is to work with submissions, his stand-up is pretty solid and well rounded. Given the fact that Guillard has been rocked with jabs by Stevenson and Lauzon, I think that Miller can beat Guillard in the stand-up game.

I pick Miller via SUB Round 2.

Pretty pumped for this fight. Going for Miller via sub, but Melvin has a chance no doubt. Not sure Guillard's career is going were it needs to at the moment though.

People are so fickle; it's amazing.

Before his fight with Lauzon everyone was talking about how great Guillard was, and how he could be Edgar. Now nobody seems to be giving him a chance against Jim Miller.

Make no mistake about it. Guillard has crazy fast hands and true KO power in both hands, as well as very good TDD.

I think this is a very close fight to call, but Guillard takes it early via TKO.

We call those people morons, not fickle.

Anyone who had been watching MMA for the last few years knew that Melvin Guillard's "surge" wouldn't last and that he just like Jim Miller beat down a bunch of mid-tier fighters the only difference is Jim Miller has a ground game.

Jimmy will send Guillard back to the prelims with a sub in round 2. Possibly round 1.

Don't discount the superior physical tools Melvin has as Miller can best be described as a "plodder".

Exactly, Melvin has all the tools to keep distance from Miller and counter a clinch/takedown attempt fatally.

Whether he is patient and uses those tools is another story, but as an underdog he is worth a small punt.
