Not just that, but he is pretty good at BJJ. I think people would be suprised to see him on the mat. Commentators shouldn't be there unless they have some personal knowledge and he has it.

Rogan is the Man. He really knows what he is talking about and brings a style and flare to the broadcasts that are sorely missing when he is MIA.

How can Goldberg be concerned comedic relief? The only time I actually laugh at him, is when Rogan laughs at him. And the reason I laugh at that is because of Rogan's hilarious weasel laugh.

Rogan does his job, and he does it well. I'd like to see Mike Goldberg explain the grappling transitions as well as Joe Rogan does. Personally, there probably aren't a lot of announcers that can explain transitions like Joe can. Not only does Joe have knowledge of the striking game, but he's also got his Brown Belt in Brazilian Ju-Jitsu under Eddie Bravo, which is ALL geared toward no-Gi grappling.

I've also heard Stephen Bonnar say that Joe has an awesome spinning back kick. He's gotta know SOME stand-up, being a former Tae Kwan Doe champion.

Joe Rogan runs the show, and him and Bas rutten are the only guys i like listening to callign a fight. Goldberg voice annoys me, his knowledge of mma is in the s**tters, and only when he says dumb stuff like about lutter being a jordan and rogan instantly shooting it down is he good to have commentating.

Favourite fighters:

1. Mirko Cro Cop
2. Rampage Jackson
3. Chuck Liddell
4. Anderson Silva
5. Mark Hunt

I think that Joe Rogan is a great commentator - hie is knowledgable and funny and calls it as he sees it. I used to think the gufy was a bit lame (the whole fear factor thing) - you should check out his website though, he's a pretty crazy guy, goodstandup comedian too.

Joe Rogan is an amazing announcer. He is very knowledgeable about the MMA game, especially when it comes to BJJ. He is also a black belt in TKD and has actually won a lot of tournaments. He was even rumored to be fighting Wesley Snipes but I guess it fell through. And I think Rogan and Goldberg make a good time, and I enjoy listening to Mike's ignorant comments and Rogan correcting him.

What a stud
