I definatly did NOT feel like I got my monies worth last night.

The only fight worth a damn was the main event. The others, while better match-ups than I expected, were uneventful. The first (televised) bout started 45 minutes into it? I paid $10 a fight....

NOW I know why they don't show the prelims, because they want you to go to the website and pay more money.

It was worth alot more than the last one. Seeing Babalu get knocked out and Couture winning the belt is a pretty sweet PPV in my eyes.

Agreed... it seems the cards are getting kind of weak IMO, favorable fights for the big names to keep them winning. I think it's turning more and more into WWE where its a showcase instead of an actual sporting event.

If they showed the prelims you would just complain that the fighters sucked and they should have Fedor/Cro-Cop fight 10 times a night to fill in the PPV.

Yeah, I thought that the PPV was a bit weak. Matt Hughes rolling around with Lytle for the full 15 minutes was a surprise. That's just more proof that he'll never beat GSP in a re-match.

You need to judge it over 4 or 5 cards.

Last time out they were breaking in Cro Cop and Rampage. This time they had two big names fighting for the first time since big defeats.

But this card still had surprises.

And I am not going to complain too much about any two PPV events that feature Cro Cop, Rampage, Silva, Hughes, Franklin, Babaluu and Couture.

I disagree completely and I have no problem railing on PPV's that suck.

I thought this was an awesome PPV. The Babalu/Lambert fight was not only exciting, but a complete shocker in my eyes. The Hughes/Lytle fight wasn't 5 stars but I was definitely entertained, and some of the guys watching it who generally hate grappling were even into it. Franklin's fight was awesome - So good to see him back in stride, and while I knew he was going to bag the win, I was really impressed with how he did it. The Kampman/McFedries (Sp?) fight was great too - I mean, c'mon, what more do you want than a guy getting the snot beat out of him turning it around for the win? And finally Couture winning was the cherry on top.

I dunno, it's all opinion though. I thought UFC 67 sucked big time and when we purchased 68, we looked at each other and said that if it sucked, we were done buying UFC PPV's. Fortunately we were all happy. =)
