The whole Dan Mirg mess left a bad taste in my mouth, not saying the result would have much different as I had Vitor as the favorite to win, but I just can't judge this fight knowing the ref had a part in the win IMO.

Meh, I don't think Vitor is hurting for money.

Though I tend to agree with others... in my mind, Belfort vs. AJ was the most exciting fight of the night.

Dana should have awarded FOTN to Belfort/AJ, but given a big chunk (if not all) of the $$ to Vitor.

It's not like Dana doesn't go ahead and do whatever he wants anyway.

I actually agree he should have got it. There were some awesome finishes on the card, but of the fights that went past the first round, they weren't the most exciting, and Belfort-Johnson had me oon the edge of my seat the most. Thought Etim-Barboza wasn't the most exciting fight ever until the KO.

I'm pretty sure if AJ did the cut the right way, he would have beaten Belfort. AJ gassed after 2 minutes then Vitor did whatever he wanted. Vitor should realize he was lucky his opponent was stupid with the cut. Vitor should also realize that a gassed AJ didn't even have a chance to rest due to the ref's unusually quick stand ups.

I'm glad Vitor won because AJ needed to lose, and ultimately cut, in order for him to figure out his weight problems. Hopefully AJ solves his weight/cut issues, beats up a couple cans in the smaller shows, then comes back to the UFC by the end of the year.

No one really "deserved" it. There were some nice finishes but my god what a boring card that was.

I agree for the most part. AJ not being able to make the cut was pretty sad considering his history. Personally I never liked to practice of cutting gross amounts of weight for an advantage.

It was hardly the best fight. Johnson vs. Belfort was sloppy with one fighter gassing in 2 minutes and getting sprawled on and choked out shortly after. Throw in the odd refereeing and Johnson diving for Belforts legs whenever he was on his feet, and I don't know how you could have enjoyed that fight very much. Just my point of view. Then again, there wasn't any fight that stood out as being an overall fun fight on this card. It just had nice finishes.
