Meh. It would have happened if Palhares' passport hadn't been expired and he had more time.

Wanderlei and Vitor are fighting each other after doing a Brazilian TUF, so that will be a lot of Brazilians fighting each other.

Some people think that they can convey either a philosophy on life or a complex political statement using a signature on the internet. I'm not one of them.

Your a professional athlete, act like it. Fight who is put in front of you and leave your personal bullshit somewhere else. This is supposed to be a sport, treat it like one.

Yes. Ever since their economy picked up in the 90s, they were grouped into BRICs by Goldman Sachs, and got the Olympics and football world championships. They've been on a roll, and are already rivaling the USians for arrogance and hubris.

Go ahead, neg me, but you know it's true.

Steady on chaps. This is a translation we are talking about, not a direct quote. Plus, the thread title is naughty.

All Maia might have really said is, "I would prefer not to fight other Brazilians.", which is a completely reasonable statement.

But never mind. You guys go ahead and sharpen those pitchforks. Some bloke told you that some bloke said something that you don't like!? Lynch the fecker!

Took only 28 posts for someone to came up with a reasonable pov.

Anyway, this thread title is unfortunate to say the least...

Original article title:
"Demian Maia Didn't Want To Fight Palhares Due To Lack Of Brazilian Middleweights"

This thread title:
"Demian Maia "Brazilians shouldn't fight each other, unless it's Anderson."

McCall, Faber, Aldo, Nate, Nick, Lyoto, TBD, Hunt
Forever hanging in Anderson Silva nuts

That still makes zero sense. What does two people being Brazilian have to do with fighting each other?

I mean, they act like it's Brazil vs. everyone else sometimes.
