Jorge Rivera reveals he’s retiring from the sport win, lose or draw tonight
"I've thought about this for a long time," Rivera said. "If I would have won my last fight, I would have walked away. But that's not how it worked out, and I just told myself I would leave no matter what happens.
"It's time to go. I'm starting to feel like that old man in the club trying to pick up chicks. It gets a little creepy after a while."

It was pretty obvious from his body language with Dana during the weigh-in.
Hope he didn't train too hard and he has a good night tonight.

Yeah. He's pretty much in the same position as Chris Lytle when he retired.

Good decision by mr. Rivera... He seems like a good guy and I wish him all the best, and he's entertained me plenty of times

Man that was awesome. I've always liked Rivera hes a sick fighter, I thought Schafer was going to be able to control him like he did in the first round for the whole fight which would've been a shitty ending to a good career. But Rivera came out in the second round and got his opening and put a whooping on Schafer, I loved it.

It's easy to like a guy like Jorge who's had some seriously hard times in his career. What better way to retire than having the crowd chanting your name after dismantling your opponent. Enjoy your retirement sir

Never realised he was such a veteran already. Turning 40 next month and he made his UFC debut back in 2003. He has had a decent career and i hope he'll go on to do things he loves.
