Who has Bisping beat? Akiyama off a loss to Leben who Munoz just beat? Mayhem who has never been good? Rivera?

Demian Maia's beat Chael Sonnen and fought for the title and unlike those three is a top ten fighter, Belcher's best win is Cote, Vitor's lone wins in the UFC at 185 are Akiyama on a two fight skid and Rumble who has never fought at 185.

Convince me Munoz isn't top five the only people who you could logically rank ahead of him is Anderson, Chael and Okami who he fought to a split decision. Bisping has never beat a top ten fighter, ever.

I'd like to see Bisping Vs Belfort for the next #1 contender spot after Sonnen Vs Silva. It would be a great fight that we can only suspect would end in a KO. Bisping did great against Sonnen and showed brilliant defences to the wrestling. He was a little cardio sapped, which isn't really a regular occurence for him, but that is a big part of Sonnen's grinding style. Belfort Vs Bisping wouldn't go like that, so we'd see the best conditioning of Bisping throughout the entire fight.

Another controversial name I'm going to throw out there is Wanderlei Silva. After what happened with Cung Le, I see him being able to throw a spanner in the works for any title contender and should be avoided by everyone hoping for a shot soon. He got the W over Bisping two years ago and would definently have the chance to ruin his plans once again.
It's funny you say this, I too want a #1 contender showdown with Vitor vs. Bisping. The problem is, Bisping just lost and Belfort is fighting W. Silva after TUF in Brazil.

That fight will send off Silva, as he stated that was the last match he wanted before retirement.

At that point I'm sure Bisping would have to fight again, maybe Munoz?

i would like to see him fight Okami or Belfort
Sorry but this list makes me.. laugh! Belfort, Okami, Palhares, even Munoz can beat him! I say give him Maia, Brian Stann or even Weidman that are fights that he can win actually.. (even if i am not sure). Do not forget that there is also Nate Marquart when he comes back to ufc

Exactly. Somebody with a bit of sense at last.

Outside of Silva and to a lesser degree Sonnen, the rest are no better then each other as far of fights go. Maia beat Sonnen 3 YEARS AGO. Munoz beat Maia, but then who? And Vitor has beaten who exactly at MW? None of them have more than a single credible win. As for Stann?? Please.

At least Silva and Sonnen have some juicy names on their resume.

There is a very strong argument for Bisping being top 5. Think about what Sonnen did to Marquart, Okami and Silva and compare that to the fight Bisping game him.

Im not a Bisping fan, but I have no problem calling him a top 5 MW after the fight against Sonnen.

I still think Sonnen had a bad weight cut and gassed a bit, but still Bisping gave him a tough fight.

Ive always said Bisping had under rates wrestling a TDD. His is probobly the best out of all of the non-wrestlers in the division.

Fav Fighters:
BJ
GSP
Askren
JDS
Belcher
Shogun
Fedor
Hendo
Sonnen

You say Belfort, Okami, Palhares and Munoz will beat him like it's fact. I think after watching the Sonnen fight we should all probably stop counting.... 'The Count' out.

Oh and if we see Marquart back in the UFC, I doubt he's going to jump to the front of the line. He's going to need to string something impressive wins together before he can even sniff the top tier of the MW division.

I mean he was trying to make the cut to 170lbs before he got the boot. Not exactly a guy who deserves to step up on his return.

Hey, now... Vitor did KO Rich Franklin, the perennial number two or three at MW (back then). I know it was at catchweight, but the fact remains that Rich could probably still give quite a few MWs fits. I may be one of few who believes this, but a win over Ace, especially a KO/TKO victory, means something.
