Sylvia's performance : fight fixed?

I rewatched the fight, and Sylvia did absolutly nothing to win this fight.

I know i might get hated for saying this, But Sylvia looked so bad last night that this fight looked completly fixed. I know some people will say " o yeah, Sylvia got rocked on purpose after 10 seconds.. right", but have you ever seen such a lame performance?

In that perspective, every1 wanted Randy to win and Sylvia to loose.. and thats what happened, and randy took 0 damage... And sylvia/Couture are friends.. hum.. Of course i dont have proof of it and nobody ever will, but wow, ive never seen a champ lay down for some1 else like this.

in my eyes this wasnt fixed, sylvia just expected couture to take him down instead he got rocked with a punch and went down. That shocked him and he got scared and tried to stay away from Randy.

It wasn't fixed, he did the same thing in his last fight with Snowman. And if it was fixed why go through a 5 round beating? Take a shot, stay down and wait for the stoppage. Save yourself the punishment.

Not this s*it again, sure, all the upsets are actually “fixed” the Apollo moon landings were staged, FDR knew about Pearl Harbor, 911 was an inside job and I once saw a 500 foot tall Elvis in a parallel universe.

To be honest, the fix angle did go through my head a bit too but then it occured to me that Couture is just that good. I'd almost like to see the Couture we saw last night fight Chuck again.

Someone as Respectful and Humble as Couture would NEVER go to a fixed fight. Can you honestly believe couture would support that? He loves MMA, and i would bet pretty much anything he would only fight if it was 100% fair.

If the UFC was the kind of organization that would fix fights like this then what happened to Royce Gracie, Ken Shamrock, Tank, or any of the other fighters they brought back? If the UFC would fix the randy/tim fight they would have fixed the Matt hughes/Royce gracie fight. These type of threads hurt MMA, show major disrespect to the fighters, and make internet forum posters look like a bunch of uneducated fools.

The reason it looked fixed was because Tim is a big retard. Sylvia has been able to win many of his fights mainly because of his reach and ability to maintain some distance between his opponents. Not this time. Randy was too smart and too confident to let someone so one dimensional dictate how the fight would go down. Couture remained calm and focused while Tim's mind was occupied with thoughts of petting kittens and eating crayons. Just look at Randy's combo's throughout the fight. He did the same thing over and over, and to his credit he was smart enough to keep doing it since Tim obviously was not catching on. Big ups to Couture.

The fight wasn't fixed haha - what you saw was a fluke Champion in what was a weak HW division... now that Crocop has entered, and Liddell potentially moving up - Sylvia does not belong.
