JW Anyone else feel bad for Yushin Okami?

I mean he had a piss poor performance in Brazil vs Silva but really that was in Brizil in Silvas home country, he went from Title Contender Main event to Undercard thats a little harsh in my eyes. Plus didn't Dana say that he thought Okami was the best fighter to come out of Japan?

Absolutely, but he's pretty much the Middleweight version of Fitch except he wasn't as consistent with winning and managed to finish here and there.

He'll run through Boestch though and he's only 30, so his run is far from over, once Anderson retires or loses he'll be right back there in the title picture.

I like all the fights on the Main card. of course the ME is going to be amazing, Ramapage is huge in Japan, Hunt vs Congo is going to be a slug fest, and the Pettis vs Lauzon is fight that could possibly make a conteder for the winner of the ME. But Akiyama vs Shields are big names coming off two brutal first round losses. Im sure they could have found a better fighter for Okami to push for main card.

I wouldn't be so sure about running through Boetsch the guy has retarded monkey strength, it's not going to be easy for Okami to hold him down and Okami doesn't have the best track record when things get rough. If Boetsch turns it into a real scrap he could take it.

OP's name is jooshwa so i guess JW came from there?

Sucks that their throwing him from the main event to the undercards. Considering this monster of a card though, being in the undercards is an honor. The main card is stacked as it is.

Boestch is a strong guy but the reality is he isn't talented enough to hang with a top five Middleweight, he didn't look impressive at all in the Ring fight outside of the judo throw.

I don't really see what he has to offer Okami to make it a competitive fight.

Meh, Yushin is still pretty damn talented. Lots of good fighters have been made to look foolish by Anderson. I'd not call it hype. I'd call it 'the champ is that good'.
