Was interesting when Chael called out Soares for misinterpreting Silva at the press conference, and yet it appeared like it was Chaels poor grasp of Portuguese.

Meh, just watched it, didn't make me like Silva ha ha. Felt like a hype up countdown for Silva/Sonnen 2 rather than a documentary.

Ah well, seems I'm the only one.

still haven't finished it, but just wanted to point out, imho -for as much as I consider him the most amazing fighter - he is a pretty s*itty coach / cornerman... oh well, nobody's perfect

You know I was thinking that, but here's the thing. When you're at that level it's hard to espouse what one at that caliber would consider rudimentary. I believe Anderson Silva would be perfect for a master class, but not so much for beginners or intermediates even. His level and technique is so far beyond any of ours. Every move, feint, or strike is done with a purpose where we simply see it at face value.

Yah that was definitely a good one too. Anderson's documentary had an ethereal feel to it with the ambient music playing in the background. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Must say i didnt really like it, just had nothing to it, i mean all good documentaries have some sort of a underlining story to it, but this had nothing. Just felt like someone was following him around with a camera for a few weeks, the highlight video bit was the best bit about the whole thing and we have all already seen that. Didnt even get to look into his life or his childhood or anything like that, quite dissapointing imo.

I was a bit disappointed too. Maybe because I follow MMA and have seen a lot of footage on Silva/Sonnen already that it didn't feel like anything really new.

I would have liked to have a more in depth look into their personalities, what makes them tick, how they prepare mentally..I didn't feel I got to see 'another side' to them, other than Anderson cornering, which was kinda cool to see I guess.

I thought it was decent. Not a true documentary. But you need a lot more than 75 minutes to really go in-depth about his whole life. I thought it was pretty interesting.

And I see no problem with how he coached. That kid lives with him. He is basically a son. He was on him because he believes in him.
