win lose or draw, id like his next fight to be the title shot...
Kinda like the LW division. At one point it was stacked, now everybody has been derailed.

I don't blame hendo, he's getting old and he's earned the option to wait.

Generally speaking the ufc puts winners with winners and losers with losers so some of the match ups talked about are not likely.

I don't like it. I hate this line they form every once in a while. So what? Hendo won't be fighting until the end of summer? Awesome.

It is dumb, but there is no one for him to fight right now. Rashad screwed this all up. Hendo should have just fought Rashad instead of an undeserving Phil Davis. There was no point in bringing Hendo over when they did to have this happen. At least we got an awesome Shogun fight.

Hendo is the biggest threat to Jones. For the simple fact that if Jones stands for any time, Hendo will be looking to perfectly time a Hendo Bomb. And Jones, while he can survive a few weak Machida punches, won't survive a nice H-Bomb. Rashad has no way of ending the fight with his weak punches and t-rex arms. He will have to beat him for 5 rounds...and that just isn't happening.

Smart choice by Hendo at this point in his career. He knows a loss would set him back big time and at his age he has no time for that. At his age ring rust doesn't occur nearly as much hes sucha a veteran he knows what to do to be mentally and physically prepared when he gets in there. I look forward to seeing him taking on the winner of Jones vs Evans

Lol, wtf? So Hendo decides to sit and wait until what could potentially be until late in the year for a title shot and it's all understandable because he's 'old' and he 'deserves it', but when Rashad decides to wait he's an 'idiot' 'prick' 'loser'??? Nice to know that everybody on this forums is impartial.

Anyways, I like Hendo and wouldn't want him sitting out for a title shot. I think Rashad's ordeal supports that sitting out and waiting for a title shot isn't the best idea.

You must be joking. Biggest threat? If all it takes to beat Jones is attempting to swarm him with a KO punch then Rampage would have beaten him. Hendo, as much as I respect the bloke, hasn't got the footwork, speed and technical striking and set up to just KO Jones.

Dunno why you're saying Rashad has 't rex arms' too. His arms are actually longer than Henderson and is faaar more likely to land a Knockout punch on Jones than either Hendo or Rampage. Rashad has as much KO power as Henderson. Ask Liddell, Salmon, Lambert, Huntington Beach Bad Boy, Griffin and Rampage if Rashad has 'weak' punches you joker. 4 of those cats got KTFO. As in, didn't get up for a good few mins because Rashad hit them so hard, killa.

Don't you know that Hendo can do no wrong? And while Rashad waiting for a title shot is proof that he isn't a fighters fighter, Hendo waiting for a title shot is proof that he's... a fighters fighter....

Hendo and Rashad pose different threats to Jon Jones. Both of them have wicked KO power (Hendo has more KO power standing while Rashad can knock you out from anywhere) But Hendo is NOT a bigger threat than Rashad AT ALL. Hendo doesn't have the option of going to the ground with Jon Jones, if it touches the mat at all Jon Jones will probably finish Hendo with a submission or just beat his ass until his chin cracked.

IMO, Hendo poses the same threat as Rampage. Both has nasty KO power in their hands and they both have strong take down defense, but both of them can be taken down and once on the ground, they're not that good compared to Jon Jones/Rashad. With Hendo (same as Rampage) you really only need to avoid his hands, and that's it.

Rashad poses threats everywhere with Jon Jones and is much more well rounded. I see Rashad losing the striking game, but not by a wide margin at all. Rashad has incredible speed when he rushes and is one of the few fighters who will lure you into a false sense of security by following you as you disengage.

Rashad is also great off of his back. Defensively he does everything right and always pops back up to his feet, even while rocked. His chin is tried and true as well. He has proven that he can take a big shot and not flinch, he also has shown that he can get dropped and fight back, even win the round.

Jon Jones is a lengthy fighter, but this is not new to Rashad nor will it bother him. He has long arms for his size and he has always dealt with a height disadvantage. He poses a lot of threats because of his small build, he can shoot in a lot lower than most 205s and he does it with blinding speed and excellent set ups.

All in all, Hendo is an easy fight for Jon Jones while Rashad is his toughest opponent to date.

If Rashad wins, I'd love to see the Hendo fight. Now if Jones wins, I probably won't even watch it. Hendo stands absolutely no chance against Jones and the fight would look like a joke.

Will make predictions for credits. Please, I'm so broke.

I'm still not convinced about what Rashad brings to the table except an explosive double leg.

Problem is you have to make the guy respect your striking and I don't see Rashad hitting him once with anything on the feet except leg kicks and considering he only uses his ju-jitsu for positional control he's ****ed if Jones wants to take him down.
