The McFedries fight wasn't an accurate representation of his striking. Kampmann is actually a really good striker, he just lacks any real one punch power. But his combo's are solid and his footwork is top notch. He obviously proved he can hold it down on the ground, although Drew wasn't really a tough match on the mat.

Kampmann is solid but dont crown him yet. He needs a couple big matchups so we can accurately assess where he is in the MW division.

agreed! Kampmann was getting slapped around pretty good, great triangle though!!

Don't think he's ready for Silva, not that Anderson's last fight was all that.

Kampmann likes to get punched in the face. I agree with Alex....again...I've been saying it for a while now. Kampmann is a force to be reckoned with. I even agree when you said he would beat Swick, and maybe Okami. Swick to me is a sure win almost, Okami has a better chance. Only thing about Kampmann is his size. I mean, he handled Drew pretty good for how big he was. But Rich is ****ing huge for a MW. I don't know if Kampmann could handle Rich's physical power. It would be interesting. I also think Kampmann needs a bit more experience before I claim he has the best shot against Silva. Right now I still think Okami has a little better chance, and Marquardt too.

I also thought his striking looked pretty bad. I was shocked that his strength was striking, could've fooled me.
