I can't believe Herb deducted 2 points for that... Has a fighter ever been deducted 2 points after only 1 warning? Has a fighter ever been deducted 2 points ever?

Glad I didn't put the big bet on this fight I was thinking about. Would have sucked to lose my money to bs like this especially since I thought Caceres still did enough for the win.

2 points aside, Caceres walked all over a tough opponent and he will be a FORCE in this division. His striking is so crisp, his ground game is amazing (although he needs to finish those submissions) and his chin is among the best in the world. That head kick would have put some LHWs to sleep.

No he wont, he couldnt even execute an rnc in the first round when he and his opponent werent sweaty.Dudes arms were gassed from th onset and he was getting tagged in the standup repeatedly. He is is exciting no doubt but not ufc level

He supposedly won this fight, and his last fight as well. I'd say his UFC level.

That 2 point deduction was bullshit. After 1 warning, really? Kos got warned repeadetly for the eye pokes and nothing happened. Kongo has killed testicles in the octagon and we're getting this. Caceres says his going to appeal the decision and see what happens.

As opposed to joint-lock submissions, chokes like the RNC is actually helped by sweat.

It makes it easier to slide your arm under your opponent's chin

It goes both ways really, when you are slippery it's easier to get out of a choke aswell, you can turn into their guard a lot easier too.

Not sure about Caceres being a force in this division. Figueroa almost knocked him out even though his nuts were lit up like a Christmas tree.

To be fair nobody was expecting that head kick and his recovery was excellent. I don't think he'll ever beat Aldo but he's improving at a rapid rate and he's very exciting to watch, not to mention he's only 23 so the dude has a long time to grow in the sport
