So if I share the opinion of A LOT of people you don't respect me either. Do I see how Condit won, sure, do I think he did, no. The Compustrike stuff is a little off. Strikes were slightly tipped to Condit, but he out landed 68-8 in leg kicks. And not a single one of Condit's leg kicks were damage dealers, they were slaps. Just about every single one was as he backed up with the top of his foot, you train in Muay Thai, how many more of those kicks can you take over the dull thudding ones?
I've said it several times, Condit came to point fight, do I see how you can score it for Condit in the 10 point must, yes, but that doesn't mean I agree with it. For ****s sake, when Penn took Fitch's back for the same, if not less, amount of time in their fight people gave him the round and Jon spent the rest of that round on top.
My complaint with reaction to this fight is that people who normally hate on things that are used in the current judging system are all about it in order to give the fight to Condit. I don't care who won the fight, it was a terrible fight on both ends, it's that if this was say, I don't know GSP v Condit, somehow this would be a huge robbery. People let their hatred for a fighter cloud a lot of what they see. Once again, not saying that Diaz won via land slide, I thought it was a very close point fight. One which, honestly I haven't cared much to watch a third time.
Does Carlos Condit need to take another fight and finish while GSP heals?
