Does Carlos Condit need to take another fight and finish while GSP heals?

So we all know by now Condit beat Diaz but the back lash of this fight has really surprised me, a lot of people are turning on Condit, BSL made a video about it, Sherdog, The UG and our very own forum have resorted to calling Condit a chicken, coward, runner, jogger, you name it they've said it.

But have most of you forgot, Carlos Condit has 26 stoppage victories and 28 wins overall?

None the less Condit's performance last night lost him a lot of fans but won him the belt and the right to face GSP but I'm starting to see fans actually question buying PPV's that Condit headlines, which is baffling but whatever, anyway the question I have for you is simple, does Carlos Condit need to take another fight while GSP heals? And how crucial is it for him to finish that next fight? Whether it be Hendricks or Ellenberger, if he could finish one of those guys would all of the people who are bad mouthing him now go on and change their minds about him?

What do you think?

I think MMA fans can be as retarded as professional wrestling fans, if not more so.

If he did do another fight, they'd have to put some sick fights on the card because I don't think Carlos can headline a card and have it do well especially after that performance.

I know I wouldn't buy it.

Pretty sure he said he wasn't going to wait for GSP while Nick was. That's how much of a beast he is.

I thought the fight was exciting so il certainly buy the next card. People just dont appreciate technical MMA. Some of the counters Condit landed were beautiful to watch. Il buy any card Condit is on because he finishes most of his fights and does not having boring fights.

As a Condit fan I was pretty disappointed because I didn't get to see the natural born killer fight so I'd really like for him to get another stoppage before he dethrones GSP.

November is quite a long way off, but I dunno.

I actually think he's going to dethrone GSP any ways. I think both him and Nick are very bad stylistic match ups for GSP.

Condit is a long, rangy striker who excels in that department and has a wicked guard.

Despite my major criticisms, Condit last night proved that he can 100 percent stick to a gameplan, that's for sure.

He played it safe against Nick but I think the real natural born killer will show up against GSP and really bring the fight to him.

I was thinking the same thing. He won't have anything to lose vs. GSP plus Condit won't be able to out-point him either.
