Dana says that pride is dumb for the Wandy/ Henderson fight, because it tarnished Wandy's image. i wish dana realized that we all want to see those big fights. I wish he would stop matching top contenders against lesser fighters.

hughes lay'ed and pray'ed????????? Go watch boxing you don't even know what the hell MMA really is do you. Matt was actively imporving his position throught the entire fight. He was looking for submissions and he was looking to strike. He looked great. Lytle should be the one your mad at at for not doing anything but defending. All Lytle did was try to neutralize Matt he did nothing offensive.

I never meant the whole fight. Watch the 3rd round again. He wasn't impressive at all. And don't even attack me and say i don't know mma. You're a punk dude. I can have an opinion can't I?

Matt worked for position well for the first 2 rounds. After that he seemed tired. And yes, it was probably because Lytle was nuetralizing what he was doing and making him work for it.

People throw the lay n pray term around and they don't know what their talking about. If your upset because the bout wasn't as exciting as you hoped for than say that. But don't attack Hughes when Lytle just defended the whole fight and Hughes tried to get through it.

Im in total agreement on you with this. Matt showed his dominance on the ground. I'm glad we saw the old Matt return I think it might have been the fans who wish nothing but a knockout from UFC competitors that drove him to lose his belt in the first place. He was constantly moving not just laying holding him down a'la Kos would have done. And all Lytle could resort to was a guillotin trying to hold Matt down.
As far as Dana goes I don't know about him any more. He talks trash on many occasions about Pride Fighters and then doesn't put his money where his mouth is. Who cares if Wanderlei lost; his a great fighter and that truly is MMA going up against someone who is going to challenge you. And you know what unlike UFC, Pride doesn't care about a tarnished record they want pure competition. Take a look at Diaz lost a couple of fights and is gone in the UFC, foolish on Dana's part to let that happen.
In Dana's eyes MMA is nothing but a $$$ sign. And he won't ever see the competition in it.
