Which of these former SF fighters do you think will win UFC gold first? Maybe you think none of them will ever win a UFC title, maybe there is a younger fighter or fighter not listed that will win the belt first? Who you got?

Ive always said this, only Cormier, Overeem and Melendez have a shot, nobody else. 2 because they are in the HW division which is shallow and the only ones with real skill. Melendez is good too, the problem I had with Melendez is getting out of a stacked LW division, but since he is getting an instant Title Shot, he might actually get that Belt. Only these 3 guys were ever UFC Championship Material imo.

None of them will ever have gold. Out of everyone on the list Cormier has the best chance, but I really don't believe he is as well rounded as Cain, especially in the cardio department (this is also ignoring the plan for Cormier to drop down to 205 of course, and that Cain remains champ, which I think he will). If Cormier does drop to 205 I don't see him being able to handle Jones. Jones is the faster, younger, more well rounded, and bigger fighter. Jones' reach alone would pose huge problems for Cormier imo.

Jacare. I'm confident he could beat everyone in the top 10 outside of Okami and Belfort. By the time he actually earns a shot Silva might be past it or retired.

I was gonna say Cormier but realistically I don't see him ever holding a belt. He doesn't want to fight Cain and he'll never make the cut to 205. How's he supposed to get a belt? His best chance is for JDS to win the belt back which isn't looking likely after his last performance.

I don't think any of them will hold UFC gold. Cormier and Souza will get close and will be top five, but I don't see them beating the top two or three guys in the division. Melendez is overrated, and Ben Henderson will show that soon. I don't mind the guy and like watching him fight, but the only reason he's ranked so high is because he beat Aoki up when people thought Aoki was a top ten guy. I thought he lost his last fight to Thomson, who I think is a fringe top ten guy.
