Ultimate Fighter Live Early Stoppages?
I just began watching Ultimate Fighter Live and have seen back to back "KOs," but neither competitor was knocked out or even went limp.
What do you all think of the stoppages thus far?

Way to early, i switched off after seeing two real bad decisions by steve mazzagatti.
He just ruined and screwed them fighters over.

I'll take those slightly premature stoppages over the WAAAY late one we saw last night at Bellator 60... These guys safety has to be priority number one, Joe Warren took sooo much damage from Curran last night, worst stoppage in quite a while

I thought both were very early, I couldn't believe the first one. Really bad stoppage.

Im not gonna lie, I wasnt totally upset that the ref let Warren take a few extra shots...
Anyway, the stoppages on tough seemed kind of early, but a couple of those guys looked like they were totally out on the way down and then they seemed to recover once they hit the mat (kind of like Kos/Thiago). Refs have a tough gig and I usually try to go with their judgement.

The stoppages were early in my opinion, but the fact that people were referring to them as knock outs was interesting to me. The official result was a knock out and the FOX guy was calling them nice knock outs himself, but when Lawrence pretty much knocked out Krause, they labeled it as a technical knock out. Krause was clearly more out than the other two guys. If I were one of those guys, I'd be thinking "Umm.. Did I look knocked out to you? Thanks for giving my dream a big unfair speed bump."
Oh well, what can you do? These referees have a hard job.

I thought the first one seemed better than the second one. The first one, the guy seemed outish to me on the way down, and seemed to recover slightly as his knees hit the mat. He was out when the ref first proceeded to move towards separating them, and vaguely back by the time the ref actually got them apart.
The 2nd one, the very SECOND the guy got dropped, he was already still with it enough to grab a single leg, even if it was the prematurely positioned referee's leg as he got in between them. I don't think the fighter was flash KO'd and then grabbed a leg mistaking the ref for fighter as he was in queer street, rather that the ref was in so fast, that the unKO'd fighter saw a leg and simply grabbed it. Very bad stoppage

I just saw them too. ******* ridiculous. The first one would have been justified if he got there early enough but he's sitting there say "BREAK BREAK BREAK!!!" While the rocked dude is holding onto him and trying to bring down his posture? The hell? The second one was just horrible. Being rocked =/= losing a fight. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Weird to see Josh Rosenthal stop one early, he has a great record for letting fights go just long enough.
