Chris Saunders is a scrappy little bastard I would love to see him get a winnable fight in the next round and take a shot at the finale.

At this point I think the semifinal matchups should be

Justin Lawrence(C) vs Mike Chiesa (F)
Al Iaquinta(F) vs James Vick (C)
Mike Rio(C) vs Chris Saunders (F)
Joe Proctor(F) vs Vinc Pinchel (C)

Or in the unlikely case Andy Ogle moves on

Justin Lawrence (C) vs Andy Ogle (F)
Vinc Pinchel (C) vs Chris Saunders (F)
Al Iaquinta (F) vs James Vick (C)
Joe Proctor (F) vs Mike Chiesa (F)

His padded record only meant something regarding his chances of winning this tournament. Fortunately for him, he's an exciting fighter with a lot of power, so it doesn't surprise me that he will get a contract fight, although I thought usually only the quarter finalists get that chance?

I expect Rio to beat Ogle, but he has a 2011 decision loss to Efrain Escudero. That worries me a little. I want to assume that Escudero was game that night because he has looked horrible in the UFC lately. If Rio lost to that guy we've been seeing lately, I just hope he's been improving a lot in the house to make up for it.

Sicilia was 100% robbed of a third round, and us the fans were also criminally denied seeing it. Absorbing fight, Sicilia looked completely done for one 30 second period during round 1, it was amazing the way he recovered and just kept coming forward, throwing bombs and going for takedowns.

I don't see how this fight was a 20-18 for Saunders. Personally I thought about scoring it 20-18 for Sicilia but I ended up giving the first to Saunders. He displayed some really bad striking defense (Sicilia didn't really do much better) in that second round.

It was quite clearly a draw. I won't dwell on it, as Sam looked a bit disappointing, but the man should have been permitted a third round. I don't know how much good it would have been, given how gassed he was, but still. A bit of a screw up by the judges. Saunders will get crushed in the semi-finals.

Mike rio gassed out pretty bad in the second. Not impressed with either, i feel like ogle one simply by having the superior gas tank. His punches in his stand up were so wild... I really like his personality though.

Could happen... but I think lawrence needs to be humbled. Chiesa by submission.

Yes that was truly badass, glad to see a break from one sport after another. You know but I see why they didn't have live ammo competitions some seasons with coaches like Tito and Ken competing.

You know Cruz is fuming. He's still going to beat down Faber though.
