I get your point but they weren't fighting 3 rounds, the used to fight two, a third if necessary.

My point is that good fighters rely on a feeling out process of their opponents and measuring where and when they can strike.

I actually think Dana is addicted to two guys going into the cage and pounding eachother. I swear, his reactions border on crazy, sometime.

I'm already loving this season, and the sole reason is this picture

He made Daddy Dana proud!

I've watched last weeks episode AT LEAST 5 times in it's entirety!

It was SOOOOOO good. I couldn't believe I was getting to see 16 LIVE fights in less than 2 hours.

God damn, there are some ferocious 155'ers 'in the mix' this season, I just need to familiarize myself with their names

Actually, I'm going to watch it again right now to do just that.

Feel terrible for Chiesa. I feel Dana should make an exception and let him see his family.

Methinks Cruz's team is quite a bit better than Faber's. If Cruikshank (or whatever his name is) loses they're up a shit crick.

I think the 2 best guys are Jury and Lawrence. Cruikshank may be number 3, and it's tough to say how good Marcello is.

I was surprised how late Tickle went. I couldn't stand his antics, but he looked better than a couple guys that went ahead of him imo.

OMFG: Knee from Hellllllll!!!!! Cruikshank got too confident.

Edit: After the replay the you could see the knee wasn't that hard, just hit him square on the chin.

Cruz got cocky there with the match-making. I think he was so jacked up on adrenaline that he wasn't thinking clearly.

The gamble could pay off, of course. Taking out Faber's top 2 picks in the first 2 fights would be epic. I'm just concerned that Marcello matches up with Lawrence better than anybody else.

I thought the Cruz dare was awesome. Faber looked stunned and a bit of a fool for not being able to pick anyone (Cruz was made out to be a fool by Faber earlier in the show when he called him out about talking crap about him and bringing his family into it). Also made for great TV and the fact that none of the fighters stood up to take the fight was pretty weak.

I agree though that putting him up against Marcello next week isn't the greatest move. The finals are basically happening next week. I kind of think Dana is pissed with the decision and also probably pissed Cruickshank went down early. I would be if I were him, but you can't orchestrate the fights.
