Its completly retarded how theyre putting Lauzon on this show. He'd already made a name for himself beating Pulver and doesnt need the spot light of TUF. Now if he wins the UFC will get pretty much nothing out of it. If he wasnt in it theyd be assured a new star at 155 at the end of the season. He's obviously going to be the favorite going in and now if he wins this season will be pointless.
If he wins it will be semi-pointless, as in he's already beaten better fighters. But if he loses, it will be even worse. People know him and if he loses to an unknown fighter on TUF, it will hurt his development and marketability.
They just put him on for ratings. Notice how he's already announced to be on Pulver's team. It's cheap but I'm sure people will be interested in their "feud" on the show.

I know I thought of that too but other than that he does no good. I mean the whole point of the show is to find the next young star. Lauzon is already just that.
I think the divsion is already stacked the way it is. Huerta, Sherk, Franca, Fisher, Stevenson, Guillard, and Lauzon. I dont think they need another new star.
Edit: oh wait i forgot Penn and Pulver shit this Divsion is stacked!
Well the rules say that you can only have 1 fight in the octagon to be on the show and thats all he had. This is his chance to get the big contract which is what he probably wants. I'm sure he will get more out of going on the show than he would if he didn't. I know what your saying, but rules are rules. He can't help it if he beat one of the best LW UFC has to offer. We've only seen him in one fight, for all we know that was just a lucky punch and he really has nothing to offer. It's best to put him in there with some unknowns and find out early in his career than to put him in there with some really tough competition and let him find out the hard way that he is a hack.

I also think its stupid to put him on the show. He has already made a name for himself ko'ing Pulver. Lol and imagine being coached by a guy that you ktfo.
It's great publicity to put him on the show, because he already KO'd one of the coaches. Dana is probably counting on it to stir up some drama, whichever team he's on.

its for drama, but it wont work, jens pulver is not an aggresive person and wont be angry about it.
joe lauzon i dont know but i suspect that jens will actually decide to pick joe if he can.
I think jens would like to settle some of the bad blood in the ring during practice and show joe that he is better in fact.
I think he will show joe the utmost respect but also try to beat the shit out of him in practice. I think they will be good training partners if all that happens and will create a healthy competetive atmosphere.
On the other hand maybe joe will be on the other team and will look too irratate pulver by beating his team.
9/10 times jens wins that fight with joe lauzon. sorry, but he would get dominated by almost anyone else in the lw division of top class.
should be interesting to see the show thouh
yea anyone can win once. Its called a fluke. Lauzon might not be good after all so well just have to see how he does on the show.
