Yeah I'd like Freakshow to win it. He does seem to be very family orientated with the team though so it could have an effect. I suppose the time off from the show and the finale will help him to distance himself though. Stormin Norman has pretty shit stand up, and okay take downs, so I think he'll land one or two by catching Freakshow's kicks but will eat too many of them in the process and get battered in the 3rd.

If Norman takes freakshow down he's getting submitted.

Yeah I could see him getting subbed aswell. Freakshow has that sort of Stefan Struve legnth where you could see him pulling off triangles, armbars and RNCs without much effort, and Norman doesnt seem to be very intelligent on the top position, with his only real thing of note is the transition to the back position when his opponents stupidly rush up.

Hi guys, this is my 1st post. I'm an Aussie and of course I would love an Aussie to win but I really like the English Team. Ross has come across really well and I'm ashamed to say it but George has proven to be a douche!

I really like Freak show, he has a great light hearted personality.

Cheers,
Wicksy.

This is a documentary about the Bra Boys, the gang of surfers that Richie Vas (the only likeable guy on the Aussie roster) is a part of. It's narrated by Russell Crowe and will give you some serious insight into Richie's life.

Very interesting watch, Killz has also recommended me to post it here because of the quality of the viewing and it's relevance to the show.

Hahah, i started watching again after I posted (haven't seen it for years) but yeah in the second video there's a segment of what the biggest wipeout in the surf was and low and behold, Richie features in it, ending with one of the scariest gashes i've seen in a while. EditL Just finishing it up now, Richie ended up featuring quite heavily in this.

^Ironic eh? They didnt stop talking about it all episode

Freakshow did alright. Not great stand up, but showed more than enough to make me think he's easily beating Norman. His takedown defence was pretty nice, and with the exception of that one slip up he didnt even look to get caught in a clinch. When he did go down, he almost immediatley switched a side control bottom position into over/under, and finished up quickly with a keylock. All Norm has it the ground, so I see him getting edged every round with better stand up and body kicks.

WAR FREAKSHOW!

Gotta say I really enjoyed The Smashes. Great fights and good entertainment in the house.

Was good to see the respect the fighters had for for each other at the end of the series.
