No way in hell was it prettier. Edson Barboas's was better than the front kick but Uriah's was not. It was nice but it wasn't that pretty, just brutal.

Silva would make hall look like a drunken fool. That slow ass white guy was hitting hall. Anderson would look like he was fighting a child.

Very good fight and DAMN that finish was brutal. Absolutely lived up to the hype (WOW!! 1st time dana has ever promised us something "big" and it actually was a good as he was saying??).

If Uriah can work on his footwork he will be one hell of a fighter. His fainting/technique is phenomenal.. just needs better footwork so he can create better angles and dodge more strikes.

Bubba even Jones said can be broken and if he is matched against Jimmy I feel that may be the case.
Luke is one of his top guys..? Must be a very low talent pool. Was anyone really impressed with Luke's performance against Gilbert? Sloppy ground game, stand up, defense, and won due to a circumstantial flying knee. (He would have probably won the decision, but Smith had a bad gameplan. He kept clinching and attempting take downs even though it was clear he was having no success, but looked okay when he actually stood and traded) Luke is 6'6" with awful distance utilization against a 5'9" middleweight. Is he really one of the top guys on the show?

Nice knock out from Uriah. It was a pretty close round up until that point. I thought he had some holes. With an 80 inch reach, he should have utilized his jab more. "Jab please." as Chael put it several times. He finally threw one, but then went back to not throwing them. It didn't matter much considering the end of the fight obviously went in his favor, but that reach is excellent for a welterweight.

I don't think it's a 'low talent pool'. Sonnen actually has several better fighters than Luke on his team. Chael professed to see a lot of raw potential in Luke, as well as reach and cardio. Does that make him worthy of being the number one pick? I'm not so sure... I would have jumped all over Hall. But then Sonnen is a smart man and sometimes sees things other don't.

Either way, he's picked the fighter that will take his team to the finals.

Yeah, I didn't think the talent pool was low actually, but if the guy I quoted was hypothetically right and Luke was a top guy on the show, then I would consider it low.

For such a tall guy, Luke's reach really isn't that long. It's significantly lower than Hall's I think, and Hall is only 6 foot even.

If Uriah Hall utilized his jab more, I don't see any of these guys having as much success getting on the inside as Cella did. Hall already has pretty good stand up obviously, but his 80 inch needs to be used to it's full potential. "Jab please."
