We all no BJ is the better fighter, no one is arguing that. Jens brought top coaches from MFS to help him out. BJ brought, Tony DeSouza and his brother.
People with ridiculas natural ability(BJ), usually do not make good coaches. Because they are able to learn at alot faster pace then the average person. You can't teach a god-given gift. BJ was winning BJJ tourneys as a white belt.
Pulver on the other hand, got to where he is by working with the best coaches and training partners. He is not freak of nature, he is an athletic guy with heart that sorounded himself with with some of the best in the biz.
I am a huge BJ Penn fan and will be rooting for him in thier fight. i think Pulver will make the better coach.
to train with BJ in Hawaii at his camp regularly is a differant story. But to prepare for a 3 fight 16 man, winner take all tourney for a six figure contract, I'd rather have Jens and his coaches behind me.
