Yeah, he's a great fighter, no doubt. But I hate his attitude. I hate those guys that talk like punks on the street.

Guys like that need to get a beating to humble their ass a bit.

Anyone remember Leben's pre-fight interview before fighting Silva. "I'm gonna bash him in his face, I'm gonna bust his guts...it's a bad day to be Anderson Silva."

Haven't heard him talk like that since Silva taught him a lesson.

I like the guys who are good fighters, and speak volumes in their fighting. I like confidence, but not arragance. And I know, Hughes is pretty arrogant. He's lost points in my book over the last couple years. Hence why he's not my favourite fighter anymore.

Manny is the real deal, i think he will go to the finals as well. As for his attitude, i love it he is a stand up guy, and im armenian as well so im with him all the way. You can tell he is a very strong guy, the way he tossed that guy, wow. What about his stand up, nice hands and power, watch out lightweights, manny is gonna be a force, the futre of the lightweights. We would have seen him earlier in the ufc, but the guy has been injured for two years, nice come back. Go manny! forget all the hatters.

How can you call him a stand up guy when he acted like a complete tool?

I'll admit that's all I've seen of him, but you can only judge on what you've been shown. Maybe he got a little too wound up or something. But to call a guy who freaks out over an innocent "suck it team pulver" a stand up guy seems a bit off.

I would definately pay top dollar to see this guy get his emo ass kicked.

Here were my thoughts watching the fight:

He's a pitbull.

I want to see him fight Cory Hill in the next round, that would be an awesome f*cking mismatch.

Is he actually shorter than Sean Sherk?

Where's the popcorn?

Damn, that kimura looked nasty.

I dug the asskicking he gave dude. Manny could end up being the Karo of the LW division, atleast, that's what my Karo-loving heart is telling me. Manny needs to start dumpin' fools on thir heads, but throwing them down like they're nothing is a good start. Karo would be proud of that kimura.

well said my friend, he's gonna be a beast at the LW, and i think he has better stand up than karo, and that kimura was pretty nasty, the other guy couldnt even raise his arm, might have damaged it.

I'm a big karo fan, so naturally i like Manny. He is def a mini-Karo, which is great. But he def made a jerk out of himself, he took it a little too far, especially since he knew in his mind he was'nt gonna fight in the house right before a fight. ( I think Nate Diaz would have )

On the other hand, maybe he was just trying to get in thier heads by acting like a nutjob.

As long as he continues fight the way he did in his 1st match, I could care less how he acts. I usually root for fighters more on how exciting thier fights are than wins and losses or personality.

i agree with the leben thing and gave rep to people who want to see him get beat down
this is what i think of manny

Bozo
1. a fellow, esp. a big, strong, stupid fellow.
2. a rude, obnoxious, or annoying person

beast in the ring but a real bum besides that

I thoguh corey hill had a big mouth but that manny guy just won't shut up and stop saying the f-word. After listening to him complian for aout 15 minutes of the show over a comment that was written on the wall, and watching him take off his shirt and pump out his hairy chest and says he'll fight anybody, i'm like dude i hope this guy loses.

It's not like this season is full of 'stand-up' guys. Really, what did you expect when the personalities of the fighters are just as important as the fights on the show? They're looking for bad dudes with intense personalities AND talent, and this seems to be the best crop of personalities yet. Manny is a firecracker, and although he carried it on longer than he should have, he sure as hell could back it up. He's tough as nails, and his similarities to Karo's fighting style makes me love him. I can't wait to see who he'll be fighting.

hes had one fight on the show and you do all this talking about him ...before you start getting hyped up i think you should wait and see him fight a couple more times and see if he can keep it up .. i think emerson might win it to be honest hes had some solid fights and doesnt seem to ever get finished he took melvin guillard to a split decision and lost and took jens to a decision early in his career
