Anybody notice...

that after every fight, the guy who wins keeps getting told that he is "1-0 in the UFC"? I just find it kind of odd that they gett all hyped about it when these aren't technically UFC fights. Maybe I'm nitpicking?:dunno:

They are just happy, because it was a fight in the UFC organization. So it sort of is a UFC fight, just not important enough for it to count towards one I guess.

As I recall the fight has to have three 5 minute rounds to be considered non-exhibition.

I said the same thing to my buddies last episode

They don't count those fights on their UFC records, I doubt they count them on their MMA records either

Yeah, it doesn't count towards their UFC or overall MMA record and its a bit annoying. But you can't blame em, they're excited about winning and moving closer to a UFC contract. I'd be hyped as crap too.

I think that the UFC does count them towards their UFC record. That's the only reason I could see them saying that Diego Sanchez was 19-0 before that Kos fight.

Maybe I'm wrong though.

They're considered exhibition fights because of the three, two minute round rule with a third overtime round. These victories don't count toward their actual pro fighting records.

And yes, Sanchez was 19-0 without his TUF fights on his record. Now he's nineteen and..

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
