You must admit, though.
Hill deserved to win that fight. I wouldn't be saying this except Emerson was so dissapointing in that last round, just like when he fought Diaz. He left it in the judges' hands and Corey was pushing the pace.
And you can't expect to win a fight with leg kicks. The mighty oak must fall before you will impress the judges.

Hill is a jackass. The only person who thinks he's a good fighter is himself. Talking all that crap, barking and doing other stupid stuff, he's all talk. He did not impress whatsoever and if he wasn't a good foot taller than most of those in his class, he would get destroyed. He is your typical modern day, black athlete who talks too much @$#%@$ and makes a big scene to hype himself up. It's a joke.

Fighters:
BJ Penn

Denis Kang

Honda > All Others

I aggree, but there's not enough time, he'll never make it past the next round.

I 'm glad that I didn't buy in to the Corey hype. It was pretty obvious in the editing that the UFC was trying hard to market this guy, maybe due to his personality and height. I was turned off by his over-the-top/chest-pumping image. I can't still believe that he didn't know who Jeremy Horn was. Maybe he's not into MMA at all, it's probably just a way to earn some dough. But I appreciate that he came clean about his record and he seemed to mellow down a bit.

I feel bad for the guys who got cut in the casting but are more deserving.

Mac Danzig is still on his back; his sweaty, pumped white torso is flushed with the auburn heat that auburn skin produces when it is aroused. His panting, fetching head has been pushed up against the cage by... Marc Bocek’s energetic pounding...

Give the guy a break. First mma fight!!!! For a first one, that was above average. But, he just didn't know what to look for. I could tell he wanted to explode and just dominate him with ranged attacks. (Nick Diaz to Takanori Gomi) but he didn't know how to look for openings.

He has serious potential, and if he joined Horn, he could be the biggest force in LW.

For now his one punch KO power is nonexistent. His height and reach come at a price in the LW division and that price is POWER. I wouldn’t be afraid of any of his punches, once fighters realize this they can get inside and destroy him. He has a long way to go before he starts beating any real competition.
Emerson could have easily won that fight, he was just too hesitant to let go and worried far too much about those weak assed jabs.

Was'nt he a NCAA wrestler? His takedowns attempts were horrible. His punches were'nt doing damage. He obviously has size and athleticism but he needs alot of work. No way he gets passed the 2nd rd. IMO Emerson won that fight. I thought Hill was going to be a beast.

i figured he was overrated due to his size but i never thought he would be as talentless as he was he is very lanky and unbalanced in his stance and seems to have zero power
