Emerson did more damage in the first 2 rounds but i agree it was a draw cause of the 10/9 system. Corey won the third round cause he threw more punches.

Corey won fair and square

I thought Emerson won, but I like Corey more. Hill is more athletic, and unlike Emerson, Hill comes to fight. It seemed like Corey was trying his hardest, while Emerson thought he could squeak out a decision. Seriously, Emerson bores the shit out of me, and quite frankly, I think he sucks. There's just nothing about him that's interesting. Hill, while being green as grass, at least has somewhat potential. Emerson's a lost cause, and Dana needs to hop off his testicles.

I didn't even notice Emerson's sideburns, which should tell you how important they are.

I thought Corey Hill won the fight. He pushed the pace of the fight more and even if Emerson's shots were more damaging, Hill connected more.

Corey won because he was the one stepping forward for most of the fight and more importantly most of the 3rd round. No one really did anything significant thus the "aggressor" wins. Simple as that.

To me it seemed like a run of the mill, Tim Sylvia-esque, stay back, use your reach, throw a cheesy jab, do just enough to eek out a decision, boring ass win.
