If Joe Lauzon has already fought in the UFC

He beat pulver at UFC 63, so why is he on TUF i would have thought he already would have a contract?

Its more of a way to promote him then anything. Instead of just being that guy who beat Jens, everyone will know his name now and get to see his talent. It is a little stupid but not really surprising. Gabe Reudiger had also fought in the UFC before too, he got punished by Melvin Guillard.

So they can attract more viewers for TUF 5. Ratings have been low for TUF 4 so thier hoping to improve them by putting someone in the show that is well known AkA the man who beat Jens Pulver. Also, I they are trying to create drama between him and Jens.

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

they probably wanted drama to be created, but Lauzon was not the type to create it lol...sucks to be the producers.

Why hasnt he fought since september in the UFC after a win?

Did he have some injury or what? I wouldnt have thought Dana would have held him back so he can go in a TUF 6 months LATER???

Any reason for this?

I think the best drama is happening between Jens and BJ. Bj is really getting p1ssed off and Jens is taunting him every chance he gets.

I think BJ is more annoyed at his team than anything. Noah is a can, Monstah I think is tough but has no ground game, Emerson pushed the pace 1 round in 2 fights, Wang doesn't try to win, and Gabe.... well, we saw what a disappointment he was. I hate to admit it but BJ really screwed himself with the whole raise your hand thing. It was funny at the time and he still got some good guys but it looks like it's biting him in the ass.
