I'm in marketing, so it's a perspective. And if I'm Ronda Rousey's agent, I'd have slit my throat by now. She's been so relentlessly unpleasant it's becoming hard to imagine wanting her associated with any non-mma product.
I'm sure Dana loves it because the franchise needed a boost, and this is certainly delivering, but from a personal brand perspective, Meisha Tate is coming out of this with a much higher public profile, and Ronda Rousey is coming out with much more negative public profile. Which bums me out because , as a former judo player, I love Rousey's game.
I respect the hell out of her as a competitor but ..... put it this way. I'd love to coach her, but no way would I ever let her coach my kid.
