to me it looked like cole was faking his ass off. its funny how dana white was the only person making excuses for cole. dana just needs to shut the **** up for once.

Agreed but I also feel that Joe knew when to let up on the aggressiveness and did a very good job of watching for those submission attempts. He knew just when and how to change positioning to ward off those attempts.

i disagree...i think he was really hurt....although i dont think that should be a penalty for joe....but rules are rules....and if the sport is gonna be mainstream then they gotta soften some things up

The most solid advice I can give to anyone who fights BJ Penn is...do not motivate the guy. Lets face it, BJ although talented, is naturally lazy. Your job is to NOT convince him to step on that treadmill.

Uh, why would he fake it only for the fight to continue and just get absolutely decimated? I don't think getting GnP'd by Joe Lauzon is worth it. Stupid theory.

yea, I was impressed with him dodging all those submissions. I'd still have to give BJ some credit on that though, not taking anything away from Joe. His aggressiveness is good, but he was starting to gas only in the 2nd round...he listens real well though, and his potential is real high to be great.

because he didnt want to look like a *****. ive been hit pretty damn hard in the back of the head. you lose your balance for a second or two and things are spinning and thats it. noah got dropped on the back of his head on concrete twice and it didnt faze him.
