i believe cole was hurt, i cringed when i saw that elbow land and i knew immediately it was gonna get stopped. joe obviously didnt mean it i mean he had all the time in the world to hit the back of the head but he was trying to be careful... you could tell he hesitated before throwing the elbow.
joe is a coaches dream... well in jens case i guess a nightmare, but any other coach deffinately

Dude, shut up. Why why the hell would you say that about Dana? He gave Cole respect for fighting a hell of a fight up until he took an illegal elbow to the back of the head and Dana deserves to be ridiculed for that? Who are you to say he was faking? I kinda though he might have been faking at first too but then I realized he really was hurt. I dont care how hard youve been hit on the back of the head. If you get it in the right spot it can do alot of damage. Thats why its a rule.
That being said, I really dig Joe. Hes quickly becoming one of my favorite fighters. I'd definatly root for him against any LW but BJ.

dude he was lying. back of your head is the area of the occipital lobe and cerebellum. what do these two areas function in? coordination, balance, and vision. hence, a blow to the back of the head will hinder these three things. slow language processing? i dont know. i believe cole was hurt just not as bad as he was making it out to be. he was disoriented but he knew if he could fight.

i got pretty dissapointed when he hit him in the head the thing is the angles that guy had his head at lauzon didnt have much room to work with, i believe it was a mistake.
that said he was winning due to listening to BJ only, what i mean is this...
If those two were in a ring where they couldnt hear their coaches lauzon would have been caught in an armbar or a triangle a few times and may have done less damage, but because the guy reacts and listens very well he pulled off a good fight against a guy who was probably slightly better then him on the ground.
The fight was good, i`d like to see more of both those guys.

Joe to take the contract imo.
