They would need to explain where they go and it's also upto the producers in the end I think.

Yeah Spike TV produces and aires the show. Im pretty sure theyre not gonna let somethin like this not be aired. Dana isnt the almighty god of everything that the UFC is involved in.

another reason is lauzon and miller are both kinda quiet guys on the show so they would have had a hard time filling up the whole episode with them 2

If Noah fights Marlon Sims in the finale, which I'm not sure will happen seeing as they got kicked off the show (I mean does anyone really see Gabe making an appearance on the finale?) I don't see Noah beating him. I'm no Marlon Sims fan but I have not been impressed at all with anything seen from Noah. He got walloped by Manny, made to look like a fool in a training session, and came out with the worse end of it against Sims in their backyard brawl. I certainly wouldn't be wagering money on Noah let alone my life

I understand ratings and all that but they could atleast cut some of the crap Dana says.

Did anyone else notice this?
Two reasons:

a) people like drama. Although I agree with him that its unprofessional I can't lie, I enjoyed that episode a lot.

and

b) there is no real way to cover it up. If he did, the story would get out eventually and it would be worse than if he just aired the truth of it.

As for Allen B being tossed, good. Noah seems like a decent guy, better than that moron Marlon Sims.

Serious, Marlon is such a bs'r its unreal.

But their fight was pretty slick regardless.

Agreed, its ALL about Ratings. Ratings = Cash, cash = happiness.

And more cash possibly = more fighters. Not saying anyone in this thread has done this but it seems common for people to get pissed when the UFC does something to make money. I find that thinking to be extremly stupid.

it was worth showing for a number of reasons, some of which have been posted on this thread already.

However, one of the other fighters summed it up the best: "That was the most technical street fight I've ever seen."

Showing the fight and Dana hammering them for the fight and his little scripted speech gives props to the UFC because they show the fight and say "See we are not like that, we tossed those *****es real quick." I know it sounds wierd but it actually lends credence to the stance that these fighters and not bar room bawlers, I go with Pulver and Lobstah you put a dog in the kitchen and tell him not to play with his toys when they are right there. I am coming up blank on how this screws over the UFC or MMA, you show it and let people draw thier own conclusions whcih I feel is they f*cked up and got what they deserved just like the guy last season that jumped the fence, or season 3 he got a dumb letter from his GF should they not have shown those things?
