I'm sure everyone saw Dana go pms on Noah and Sims about how he had worked 6 years to give the sport a better name than this. Thats great and I agree with him, but if you are so angry about how it is going to make the UFC look then why would you show it on a national telivision show? I understand ratings and all that but they could atleast cut some of the crap Dana says.

Did anyone else notice this?

all about ratings man.

Dana went on a rant, save some face for the public.

As for Allen B being tossed, good. Noah seems like a decent guy, better than that moron Marlon Sims.

Serious, Marlon is such a bs'r its unreal.

But their fight was pretty slick regardless.

antiscian has a little shameless behaviour in the past
It's was just a win/win for Dana and the UFC. First they advertise it, making sure to give general information as to who is fighting and show quick clips so that the MMA fans will chatter about it as was done on these forums. Second, you broadcast the fight and feed the masses and line UFC pockets with extra advertisement cash. Third, Dana uses the event he just finished glorifying and selling the week before to enforce the UFC's position on the bad conduct to further the UFC's national lobby.

It's hypocritical. But, who here wouldn't of done the same thing if you were the president of the UFC?

Did you notice in almost every episode they made a reference to his restaurant in some way? I seriously think something is up with him and Dana like I think they had some sort of deal, but I have no idea why. Why did they keep plugging his lobster business?

Anyway, to the topic of the thread....I was wondering the same exact thing when the show was on. I just figured they did it for ratings, plus how would they explain how 3 people are all the sudden missing next week?

The real question, would anyone care if those three were missing next week?
