seriously, this is like the BJ Penn show.

its like they gave the mic to BJ Penn, put him on a loudspeaker so everyone can hear only him. i rarely heard Pulver at all from the corner this season

Come to think of it, i've never heard jens pulvers corner but I cant believe he's not saying anything. Must be editing.

I think it's mostly because of BJ's yelling and Pulver doesn't seem super sure when the fight hits the ground. I think we hear him the most when the fighters are standing. Like, i remember hearing him through the Hill fight and the Melendez fight.

BJ is so load, and he is saying "watch for this" every ten seconds, so it probably makes the judges think the fighter on bottom is actually trying to do something.

Which is alot better than not saying a damn thing at all when the fight hits the ground.

I am not sure if Penn moves around but I know Joe went to his corner if Penn doesn't move so that probably plays into as well. I think Pulver only yells out when he sees the need but Penn maybe feels the need to yell constantly.

I think BJS turning out to be a better coach than what I gave him credit for earlier in the season. If it werent for him Joe may have been subbed.

Nah Pulver just doesn't speak out with Cole, in one of the episodes he was talking about Cole and he preferred his corner to be quiet so he can just go in and do his own thing
