Yeah he told Dana he was 8-0.

He's not going to finish Hill in 3 minutes, that's just stupid talk.

I think corey will be an animal in years to come. Nate is good now! I call Nate in the second round. BUT, corey may be able to catch him and take it, this is MMA at the end of the day!

Nate will crush Corey. I've seen Nate's WEC and several other small time promotion fights. Lauzon and Nate are two of the meanest guys in this competition.
Penn and White were spot on in their semi-finals picks, I see this season coming down to Diaz v Wiman. Lauzon may sneak in past Wiman, guess we'll see.

First of all, he didn't know the mma history, or these big mma names like Dana, because he can't afford cable tv and has his hands full with a family and kid. I'll apologize on his behalf, though, for him not being a rich white kid that tries to feel tough by watching fighting... he actually is tough.
Secondly, it's bad for mma that he looks like Snoop Dog? How is that bad for mma... He can't change his appearance. Micheal Jackson would be bad for mma.

I don't understand how Corey is bad for MMA. I understand how he was bad for TUF, because he lied to get on the show and he is ignorant of the sport, but there are a few things you really have to give the guy: he's tall and he's athletic. If he had four fights I would understand him being on the show, but I don't think it's fair to the guys who are real professional fighters and have experience.
It did bug me, at first, that he didn't know who Dana White or Jeremy Horn was, but that isn't really what bugs me about Corey. What bugs me is that he isn't a very good fighter. It's that simple.
I don't care if you don't know the history of the sport, if you are good I'll watch you fight, but Corey doesn't make up for his lack of knowledge in ability. After all, I think Emerson got screwed by the judges.
Corey will be a very good fighter in the years to come. He's pretty young and he's got alot of athletic potential, as anyone can see from watching the training clips, but the fact that he has to fight a guy as experienced as Nate Diaz is just a complete mismatch. It's like Maynard vs Weems or Lauzon vs Geraghty or Wiman vs Sims. The only difference is that this is in the second round.
Diaz by submission in Round 1.

I like Corey and despite what some people say I thought he did great against Emerson and that he convincingly won that fight (disagree all you like but 3 Nevada State judges unanimously agreed with me}...he just lacks experience, he seemed to be winging it in there and not sure of what was working and what wasn't.
Diaz is a ballsy little shit who lets it all hang out. He has good stand up and decent ground skills. I call him and Joe in the final.

Yep. I got a first round submission win for Diaz as well. Diaz is too experienced and talented to lose that fight.
