Wow, I am tired of Melendez

Ever since day one, he's been complaining about things. Before his first fight, it was his foot. Now, while training for his fight with Gray, he's complaining of an injured hand and that Jens is pushing them to hard. This guy strikes me as a Gabe Ruediger that makes weight easier.

I can't say if how much he actually hurts or whatever but that motovational speach from Jens got me pumped up sitting on the couch. Jens is a great coach!

I agree about Jens... he seems to really care.
Not that BJ doesn't...it just seems that Jens
cares on a more personal level.

I agree, I'm a Pulver fan but even I am impressed with how well he seems to have taken to the coaching position. I was skeptical at best when I heard he'd be coaching but he really seems to be taking it dead serious and giving it 100%

If Melendez had fought the first round like he did the
second round... I think he would have won

If he hadn't gotten caught in a sub, I think we would've gone to a 3rd round.

Melendez gave Gray that choke, Brandon definitely looked like the better fighter, all Gray had was takedowns.

Shiiit, even Brandon took Gray down, if Brandon didn't give him that choke I'd say he wins that fight, oh well, Gray took it, can't say anything more about it.

Melendez is very skilled, there's no doubt about that.

Why do you suppose Melendez didn't fight that first round like that? Gray really dominated him with the take downs.

Do you think that BJ was making excuses for Gray?
Talking him overtraining?

I just think Melendez got gassed at the middle of that 2nd round. Getting out from under Grey and those flying knees must take a lot out of you.
